I brought the measuring tape out to measure the basic dimensions of the rooftop and the distance to our apartment below. I’m thinking of running a water line from our apartment kitchen to the roof so we don’t have to haul water up three flights of stairs. The couple on the 5th floor already ran a pipe from their apartment to the roof.

Turns out it’s a good 8m to our apartment, so running a little pipe down to there is going to be a challenge. Fortunately, I love challenges.
